The Spirit Within

My eyes unfold unto you,
a reflection of what I am.
Pity the perception we choose,
seen not the unity that is grand.
By default our form is not similar,
different to the naked eye.
Desperate we search for what is familiar,
pardoned by the great lie.
For image is far from blessed,
It is a lie covered in sin.
For we may be many in flesh,
yet same one spirit dwells within.
